The first MSS was held in 2004 in Portorož, Slovenia. Throughout the years, it has adapted to better align with the evolving industry, but its mission has always remained the same: to provide a platform for experts from industry and academia to present best practices in purification for advancements in the manufacturing of advanced therapy medicinal products, and to educate young scientists for better purification in the future. This is why the Young Researcher’s Corner has always remained at the core of MSS.
